Ponaire is the Irish for bean. It was established in 2006 by Jennifer and Tommy Ryan. Irish owned and operated, all their coffees are traceable and in some instances, the team have visited the farms and met the farmers and mill operators. Ponaire import high quality Arabica beans from around the world and hand-roast them to meticulously draw out unique flavours. They ‘cup’ all batches to ensure the highest quality and purest of tastes. Roast Profile Sheets are maintained so they can consistently deliver the same high quality that customers have grown to expect. They can trace their beans from the farm to the cup or bag. When you buy a bag of Ponaire coffee, you will see a batch number that can be traced back to the farm where the coffee was grown.

Connoisseur Coffee Blends are a blend of dark roasted single estate Indonesian Java Blawan beans with medium roasted Paca and Bourbon Arabica varietals from Finca Altamira, El Salvador. It makes for a clean cup with low acidicity from the Indonesian beans. It has a heavy body with unusual spice notes – clove and black pepper. It finishes with a hint of flowers – a consistent smooth finish.
